Lion's starting eleven: Gardner, French, Fildes, S.Turkentine, Marlow, Burnage, D.Jefferies, Harrison, D.Farr, Pearson, Canning.
A lively game with the Lion's showing some promising midfield movement but were unable to find the finished product despite some promising shots from Jefferies, Canning and a whipped free kick from Andy Fildes. Gardner pulled off a couple of great saves but the Lion's were unable to stop a quick Pin Green side scoring four goals in each half.
An Andy Fildes throw in led to Adam Burnage scoring the consolation goal with a trademark shot from the edge of the area that dipped just under the bar.
Pete Jordan and John replace David Farr and Rob Pearson late in the second half.
Pin Green obviously deserved the win although the scoreline flattered them a little. Despite some promising moves ,the Lion's should of tested their keeper more.
Its been many years since a team has put eight past the Lion's
David Farr was the Lion's Manager's Man of the Match.
A Big thank you to our supporters, including; Sarah, The Jefferies, Ash, Ricky, Barry
