Lion's eleven: Gardner, Jordan, French, Fildes, Dye(C), Turkentine, Burnage, Pearson, Weeks, Harrison, Fleckney.
Although Breachwood started briskly they were a goal down after ten minutes. Things got worse for Breachwood when David Fleckney, making his Lion's debut, had to go off with a badly injured knee after fifteen minutes. Griffin came on in his place and slotted well into midfield.
Lion's had good shape and took the game to Putterill's. French Fildes and Jordan kept Putterills comfortably at bay since the early goal. Gardner dealt with any longer range shots.
Playing his first game for quite a while Michael Weeks made an impact battling on the right, whilst Burnage and Pearson combined effectively on the left.
Breachwood were soon back in the game when Dye's crossfield pass found Iaian Turkentine in space out on the right. His early cross found Harrison on the edge of the six yard box to head home the equaliser.
Moments later Lion's nearly went ahead but the keeper saved from close range from Turkentine.
Breachwood played with a good tempo and felt in the ascendency when the half time whistle went.
Lion's started the second half well, attacking the Putterill's goal. Andy Fildes pushed up with an attempt at goal.
The tide turned when Putterill's scored from close range to regain the lead.
Putterills extended their lead from a quick counter attack from defending a Breachwood corner.
They scored their fourth again counter attacking after another Lion's move broke down.
Burnage nearly got one back after his 20yard shot smacked the crossbar.
At the final whistle, Putterills won 4-1
