Lion's starting eleven: French, Fildes, A.Jefferies, P.Farr, Jordan, Dye(C), Harrison, Pearson, Weeks, Burnage, Gardner.
Lion's faced Stevenage Colt's Old Boys at Peartree Park.
It didn't take Breachwood long to open the scoring. Harrison headed on Gardners throw in to Pete Farr at the far post to strike home the first goal.
Goal number two came from another Gardner throw in, Pearson got the final flick on for Adam Burnage to slot home at the far post.
Michael Weeks drilled home the third goal just inside the area.
Gardner flicked a pass round the last defender for Captain Dye to drive home the fourth goal before half time.
In the second half Canning replaced Weeks on the right wing.
Adam Burnage arrived late in the box to steal goal number five.
Colt's were starting to find some firmer passes to be able test Graham French, the Lions goalkeeper from outside the box. Eventually a low Colt's shot found the bottom corner fo the net.
Breachwood soon got back into scoring mode when Gardner received a pass from Canning and lobbed the Colts goalkeeper.
Breachwood were in search of more goals. Pearson came close a couple of times, Andy Fildes went on a searching run. Then Adam Jefferies managed to scramble the ball into the net from a corner for number seven.
Colt's hadn't given up. The two Pete's, Farr and Jordan's, defending ensured Colt's were not let back into the game. However Lion's man of the match, Harrison handled in the area to give Colts a Penalty for a second consolation goal.
Ian Canning back from injury finished the game with a fine diving header for goal number eight after hitting the post from outside the box just moments earlier.
Final score 2 v 8 and a much needed three points for Breachwood.
