Breachwood went a goal up early on when Burnage whipped in a cross from the right wing for Harrison, but it was the centre back that made the connection for an Own Goal.

Lion's continued to pass the ball around through Danny Dye, Danny Jefferies sprayed the ball from left to right. Burnage attacked with pace into the Peartree box before hitting a low shot with the outside of the foot into the the far bottom corner of the Peartree goal for two nil.

Burnage scored again ten minutes later with a similar pass from Danny Jefferies.

Canning scored a fourth but was offside so Breachwood led three nil at half time.

Lion's keeper Graham French made an outstanding save from point blank range. His reflexes flicking the ball over the bar.

The dynamic duo of Fildes and Turkentine were comfortable in central defence heading clear virtually every aerial bombardment from Peartree.

For much of the game Peartree were reduced to shooting far from out but Peartree managed to score their first goal in four games this season against Breachwood when a corner went in as an own goal off Captain Dye.

Hearne carved his way through the Peartree midfield but the final shot was saved by the keeper.

Wayne Gardner replace Harrison with 25 minutes to go.

On the left, Jordan had battled hard all game to feed Canning down the wing. Canning had a great chance to score after cutting in from the left but his shot went straight at the keeper.

Burnage had a chance to wrap the game up with a hatrick, when Gardner battled to win the ball for Adam Jefferies to set him up, but he dragged his shot marginally wide of the far post.
