Pin Green 4 v 1 Lion's

Lion's final starting eleven for this season: French, Jordan, P.Farr, D.Farr, Turkentine, D.Dye(C), Hearne, Griffin, Weeks, Marlow, Harrison.

Breachwood had a lethargic start to their final game of the season against Pin Green at Hampson Park, shipping four goals before half time, three of which came from corners.

The Lion's began to stop the rot 15 minutes before half time when a pass from Warren Hearne allowed Harrison to score from eighteen yards, over the head of the Pin Green keeper.

The score was 4-1 to Pin Green at half time.

The second half was a much more equal affair with the Lion's creating more chances.

Pete Farr shot over the bar early in the second half.

Jordan and David Farr were more determind in defence allowing Turkentine to surge forward and link up with Captain Dye.

Michael Weeks was able to break down the left wing and create opportunity for Ben Marlow.

Keeper Graham French was quick off his line a couple of time to avert any Pin Green danger

Breachwood played the last ten minutes with ten men when Ben Marlow, who had battled hard all game went off with a suspected broken wrist.

With minutes remaining, midfield warrior John Griffin hit the perfect free kick over the Pin Green defence but Harrison's header landed inches wide of the far post.

So a goalless second half meant Pin Green won the match 4-1

Iaian Turkentine was the manager's man of the match
