Lion's 6 v 5 Walkern Construction

Lion's starting eleven: French, Pearson, A.Jefferies, Fildes, Jordan, Dye, Turkentine, D.Jefferies, Blondell, Potton, Collins

Walkern scored twice early on with shots over the head of Lion's goalkeeper Graham French.
The Lions hit back with a goal from Ali Collins and a Penalty from Dan Jefferies after Collins was fouled.

At half time the score was 2-2

Breachwood started the second half the strongest with good attacking movement resulting in the Lion's taking a 5-2 lead through a well struck shot into the roof of the net from Ali Collins and two more for Dan Jefferies for his first hatrick of the season.

Ollie Mason replaced Blondell on the left wing.

Walkern fought back to 5-4 before Collins was brought down outside the box. Andy Fildes free kick was missed by everybody and ended up in the back of the Walkern net to extend the lead to 6-4

Scott Jenkins replaced Pete Jordan

Breachwood hung on to the win despite Walkern pinching another goal back for 6-5 minutes beofre the final whistle.

A dazzling display earnt Ali Collins the Man of the Match.

Lion's 4 v 4 Riverside Athletic (AET) Riverside won 7-6 on Penalties

Lion's starting eleven: French, Jordan, Fildes, Hill, Anderson, Dye(C), D.Jefferies, Blondell, Pearson, Mason, Collins

Playing Riverside from Watford in the County Cup , The Lion's took the lead when Ali Collins beat the defender and crossed the ball for Ollie Mason to head home at the far post. Minutes later Mason returned the favour buty Collins shot was over the bar.

Collins was fouled in the box for a penalty converted by Dan Jefferies.

Before half time, Danny "The Brace" Jefferies scored his second when he picked up the scraps in midfield took the ball past a couple of player before beating the keeper.

Breachwood led 3 nil at half time

In the second half when Riverside headed one back from free kick and then had two successive penalties when Ricky Hill was deemed to of fouled on both occasions.

Ollie Potton replaced the injured Dan Jefferies

At full time the scores were level at 3-3

Breachwood took the lead again in the first period of extra time through Potton. At the other end Graham French took a goal kick but the eventual loose ball in midfield landed at the feet of a Riverside player whose long range pot shot hit the goal before French could return between the posts.

The score was 4-4 at half time in extra time.

In extra time Chad Eldridge replaced Ollie Mason and Harrison replaced Dan Dye.

In the second period Breachwood pushed to get the winner whilst Riverside seemed reluctant to wait until penalties.

Breachwood were the first to take a penalty. Blondell scored, Hill put his over the bar, Harrison scored, Pearson scored, Eldridge scored, whilst Riverside missed, Collins scored, Potton scored, Jordan missed and Riverside scored to win the game 7-6 on penalties

Stevenage Old Town 3 v 3 Lion's

Lion's starting eleven: Hansen, Jordan, French, Hill, A.Jefferies, Dye, Turkentine(C), D.Jefferies, Blondell, Mason, Potton.

Despite Breachwood having the majority of the early play, it was Stevenage Old Town who took the lead after ten minutes. They then added a second ten minutes later.

Breachwood had shots from Danny Jefferies and Simon Blondell

Both teams then hit the woodwork before Danny Jefferies scored to pull a goal back before half time.

Stevenage Old Town led 2-1 at half time

In the second half , Peter Farr made his first appearence of the season by replacing Ollie Mason.

Simon Blondell swaped wings in the second half and had a man of the match performance and low shot into the net levelled the scores at 2-2.

Harrison replaced Potton and had an immediate chance that was saved at close range.
However Dan Jefferies fired a shot from an acute angle that went in off the far post to give Breachwood the lead for the first time in the match.

Old Town managed to equalise with a threaded shot across the goal line.

Andy Fildes replaced an injured Pete Farr.

Both teams tried to secure a win in the last few minutes with chances at both ends but the game ended 3-3 after the Old Town keeper saved a Lion's header from a Free kick on the edge fo the box.

Breachwood 0 v 7 Roebuck Gate

Lion's starting eleven: Hanson, Lewis, Hill, French, Fildes, Dye, D.Jefferies, Turkentine(C), Pearson, Mason, Collins

Breachwood were two nil down inside ten minutes when Ricky Hill gave away a penalty. However Hanson made his second penalty save of the season.

Charlie Anderson replaced Dan Dye in midfield.

Roebuck scored a third and then a forth minutes before half time with converted cross from six yards.

Breachwood looked to get back into the game early second half when Ollie Mason won himself a penalty. Mason's spot kick hit the upright and although he score the rebound the goal didn't stand as according tot he rules of the game, the the penalty taker isn't allowed the rebound, something that not all players were aware of.

Roebuck took advantage and hit the post themselves at the other end.

Adam Jefferies replaced Andy Fildles and Ollie Potton replaced Ollie Mason.

Despite the Lion's efforts to get back into the game Roebuck scored three second half goals, one a solo effort and the last a header for six yards.

Roebuck Gate won 7 nil to go top of division 4 by two points and with a game in hand.

KLM Cup Lion's 7 v 1 Lorne Rangers

Lion's starting eleven: Hanson, A.Jefferies, Fildes, French, Lewis, Dye, Turkentine(C), D.Jefferies, Mason, Blondell, Collins

Danny Jefferies opened the scoring after ten minutes at the near post. Dan Dye got the second tucking away Iaian Turkentine's cross from the right.

Ali Collins scored a brace before half time, the first was from an Ollie Mason cross and the second a was a one on one with the Lorne keeper after a through ball.

A well struck long range shot from Captain Turks gave Breachwood a 5 nil lead at half time.

In the second half Danny Jefferies found the space to look up and pick a long range shot into the top corner of the Lorne goal.

Ali Collin's scored his hatrick with a low free kick through the Lorne wall albeit with a slight deflection.

Hanson with a couple of man of the match saves for the Lion's nearly added another clean sheet until he was lobbed for a consolation goal for Lorne Rangers.

Harrison replaced Dan Jefferies, Chad Eldridge replaced Mason and Rob Pearson replaced Blondell and Breachwood saw out the game to go into the next round .

County Cup Lion's 7 v 0 Gadeside Rangers

Lion's starting eleven: Hanson, A.Jefferies, Hill, French, Pearson, Dye, D.Jefferies, Turkentine, Mason, Blundell, Collins

Danny Jefferies opened the scoring after ten minutes with a delightful chip over the Gadeside keeper from the edge of the D. Dan Jefferies scored again with a header from a corner.

Simon Blundell hit the post.

With a man of the match performance, Dan Jefferies had an assist in Ollie Mason's goal in the box after a right wing run from Rob Pearson.

Ali Collins wasn't going to left out of the scoring giving the Lion's a 4 nil lead at half time.

Midway through the second half, Harrison, Anderson and Jenkins replaced Blundell, Mason and Pearson.

After hitting one post with a long range pass early in the second half, Turkentine then scored with a shot off the other post.

Charlie Anderson scored from the edge of the box despite an attempt from a Gadeside defender to clear it off the line.

Ali Collins scored his second with a half volley from a long range pass wrapping up seven goals for Breachwood.

Danny Jefferies missed a opportunity to complete a hatrick late in the final minutes.

Lion's 15 v 0 Lorne Rangers

Despite staring with nine men, Lorne Rangers came close with a shot that rattled the Lion's crossbar. However it was Ollie Mason who opened the floodgates scoring the first goal as part of his first half hatrick, goals followed from Dan Dye and Danny Jefferies, Ollie Potton and two headed goals from Captain Turkentine.

Breachwood led eight nil at half time.

In the second half Ali Collins replaced Potton and Blundell replaced Rob Pearson. A while later Charlie Anderson replaced Ollie Mason but Ali Collins had already opened the second half scorng, netting a total of six goals in forty minutes during the second half. Simon Blundell also scored his second goal for the club.

Final score 15 v 0

Icon Onederers 0 v 7 Lion's

Lion's starting eleven: Hansen, French, Fildes, Hill, A.Jefferies. Dye(C), D.Jefferies, Pearson, Blundell, Mason, Potton.

Breachwood started the game in an attacking mode and Ollie Mason scores the first goal after minutes after a knock down inside the area.

Danny Jefferies unleashed a right foot shot into the the back of the net from outside the box for two nil.

Ollie Potton surprised the Icon keeper scoring with low shot from the edge of the penalty area.

The Lion's fourth before half time cam from Ricky Hill bolting up the left from defense before putting Danny Jefferies into a shooting position, Hill followed up the half saved shot to ensure it went over the line

Breachwood led four nil at half time.

In the second half Charlie Anderson replaced Simon Blundell, and Pete Jordan replaced Ollie Potton.

Mid way through the second half Ali Collins replaced Graham French .

Ollie Mason completed his brace from close range after a cross from the right before Danny Jefferies struck again for his second goal of the game.

Ali Collins completed the scoring with a low free kick off the left post ten minutes from time after he was fouled on the edge of the Icon box.

Breachwood go top of Division 4 with a 7 nil win

Rob Pearson was man of the match with a solid central midfield performance.

Lion's 5 v 1 Icon Onederers

Lion's starting eleven: Hansen,Lewis, Fildes, Hill, A.Jefferies, D.Dye, D.Jefferies, Turkentine(C), Blundell, O.Mason, Collins

A superb start to the game from Breachwood with Ollie Mason firing into the roof of the net.

Dan Jefferies scored twice, once from the spot after Blundell was brought down, and the second from a corner with a Karate kick style shot into the top corner.

Another corner saw the ball pop out to Ali Collins on the edge who absolutely walloped the ball home.

Lions led 4 nil at half time.

In the second half French replaced Mason, Blinco replaced Lewis and Potton replaced Blundell after he scored Breachwoods only goal of the second half despite being camped for most of the half in the Icon half.

Icon scored a consolation penalty after Graham French handled the ball in the box

Breachwood go second with 5 v 1 win and play the return fixture at Ridlins end next week,

Lions 1 v 1 Granby

Despite a promising start from Breachwood, Granby got a long clearence on the counter attack and scored with looping long range shot from outside the box.

Starting om the right just inside the Granby half, a Danny Jefferies and Iaian Turkentine move found the ball at the feet of Dan Dye 19 yards from goal and a sweeping left foot shot saw the ball on the bottom left hand corner fo the Granby goal for 1-1 at Half time.

In the second half, Rob Pearson replaced Pete Jordan and John Griffin replaced Dan Dye in midfield

There was plenty of end to end stuff without a clinical result.

With ten minutes remaining Andy Fildes brought down a Granby forward in the box. A well taken penalty was saved by new Lion's keeper Brendan Hansen.

Final score 1-1 draw

Ricky Hill was man of the match with a solid committed perfomance in central defence.

Ollie Potton opened the scoring converting a through ball from Adam Jefferies by beating the offside trap. He could of had a first half hatrick, shooting over the bar from close range and hitting the post.

Breachwood led 3 nil at half time with composed finishes from Rob Pearson and Ollie Mason.

In the second half Scott Jenkins replaced Pete Jordan on the left wing and Chad Eldridge replaced hatrick Ollie Mason late in the game on the right wing.

Walkern got a consolation goal over the Lion's keeper as he came off his line but not before Ollie Mason scored his hatrick.

Adam Jefferies finished off a decent Lion's display with a slotted finish just before the final whistle.

Lions starting eleven: Harrison, Scott, French, Hill(C), Pearson, J.Mason, Simon, D.Jefferies, O.Mason, Collins, Potton

Breachwood started in an upbeat manner, with a shot from Simon from their first attack. At the other end Times had an overhead kick push over the bar after a series of corners.

Times took the lead with a looping header over the keeper from another corner.

Breachwood ended the half the stronger side forcing a string of saves from the Times keeper, noteably from Dan Jefferies, Ali Collins and Rob Pearson.

Times Club led one nil at half time. Subs used in the second half were Brendan, Dave, Pete Jordan, Andy Fildes.

Brechwood equalised early second half through an own goal.

An inform Ali Collins scored a well taken brace to give Breachwood the lead, though he could of easily had a hatrick.

Times pulled one back with an attack down the left wing.

With ten minutes remaining and the Times keeper out of position after a mistake, Rob Wise making a cameo appearance scored with a shot from the half way line.

Final score 4-2 to the Lion's

Breachwood missed a chance to take the lead as Potton put a shot over the bar from 6 yards.

Lion's 0 v 7 SCS

SCS needed to win by a two goal margin to win the Division 3 title.

At half time SCS were three nil up.

In the second half Scott Jenkins replaced the injured Ed Jeffery and Nathan Batt replaced Chad Eldridge.

Despite some patches of great passing play, Breachwood were unable to find the killer shot to get on the scoresheet. Dan Jefferies and Ali Collins coming the closest.

SCS wrapped up the title with three more goals to win 7 nil.

It was the second season in a row that the Lion's last game of the season has settled the title.

Athletico Peartree 5 v 0 Lion's

Breachwood started off with a lot of attacking possession but it was Athletico that went ahead when Terry Locke got behind the Lions defence to slide score past Harrison in goal.

Athletico's second was own own goal off the head of Captain Hill from and their third before halftime was an own goal off the leg of Graham French.

Dan Jefferies hit the post, and Scott Jenkins shot went over the bar.

Athletico Peartree led 3 nil at half time.

In the second half John Griffin replaced Pete Farr, and Nathan Batt replaced Scott Jenkins.

Athletico scored their fourth from a corner, despite the keeper getting a hand to the ball, it landed at the feet of a Athletico forward.

Despite some great play from Collins, Mason and Dan Jefferies, Breachwood were unable to find the finish.

Atheltico's fifth came from a shot just inside the area.

In the last ten minutes substitute Chad Eldridge had a great chance that went wide.

Stevenage Colt's Old Boys Reserves 3 v 0 Lion's

Starting eleven: Routledge, Jordan, Hill(C), French, D.Dye, J.Mason, D.Jefferies, O.Mason, Canning, Pearson, Collins.

Breachwood had a bright start to the game. Ali Collins shot went wide and Cannings header went wide.

Despite some good opportunities, Breachwood were unable to capitalise on their play. Colts broke on the break after clearing a Lion's free kick to score their first goal late in the second half.

In the second half Colts scored their second after beating the Breachwood off side trap.

Colts third was a shot that went in off the post.

Harrison replaced Pearson and Griffin replaced Jordan.

Despite a late flurry of chances, Danny Jefferies hitting the post, Breachwood lost 3 nil.

FNM Cup Stevenage Colts Old Boys 0 v 3 Lion's

Ref: G.Harrison

Breachwood started the cup tie with a two goal advantage over Division one site Stevenage Colts Old Boys.

The game started at a high pace as each side tested each other. Pearson & Dan Jefferies seeing alot of the ball.

Breachwood scored the only goal of the game after some good running from Ollie Mason was followed by some slick passing from Dan Dye and Iain Canning found the ball at the feet of Ali Collins on the right, Collins went past two player into the box before unleashing a low shot past the Colts keeper.

James Mason had a shot over the bar from close range.

Colts hit the Lion's crossbar from range.

Despite the second half being a scrappy affair Breachwood had some great chances.

Ben Dye replaced Ali Collins and hit a shot straight at the keeper.

Ollie Mason's header rattled the crossbar.

In defence Ricky Hill outstretched foot stopped a Colts break. French & Jordan both made telling clearences.

At full time the score was one nil to the Lion's winning the tie 3 nil which takes the Lions to fifth in the league phase of the cup, unbeaten with 7 points after three games.

FNM Cup: Lion's 3 v 3 Bottles

Lion's starting eleven: Routledge, French, Hill(C), Jordan, Griffin, Harrison , D.Dye, D.Jefferies, Jeffery, Charlie Anderson, Collins

Breachwood started todays game with a three goal advantage over third in the Premiership side Bottles in their second game in the league phase of Frank Neville Memorial Cup, the renamed Inivitation Cup.

Breachwood rejigged their formation in anticipation that the Premiership side would chase the three goal deficit.

The opening minutes were evenly matched, as the pressure from Bottles increased, the Lion's defended in an organised manner.

Halfway through the first half Bottles were awarded a penalty after Harrison was deemed to of fouled a Bottles forward in the box.

Routledge managed to get a hand to the ball,diving to his left, but unable to prevent the goal.

Dan Dye found Ed Jeffery on the wing to relieve the relentless pressure from Bottles.

Lion's kept their heads with an organised display to keep their 3-1 lead at half time.

In the second half Chad Eldridge replaced Ed Jeffery.

Breachwood continued their defiant defending, Pete Jordan heading off the line from a flicked corner. Griffin & Harrison continued to spoil Bottle attacks in front of the defence. The Lion's managed to gain a breather when Bottles were teased and tantalised by the attacking invention of Ali Colins and Dan Jefferies. Charlie Anderson had a great opportunity.

Bottles got their second goal with shot through a crowd of players from a midfielder.

The last fifteen minutes was pure cup tie stuff with Bottles striving to find the equaliser. Routledge made an instinctive save from close range, Graham French cleared anything coming his way. Captain Hill got his body in the way time after time.

Bottles finally equalised 5 minutes from time.

The final score in this epic cup tie was 3-3.
This game was a great illustration of what this Cup competition is about.

Chequers secured the three points in the this bottom of the table clash with three goals scored from inside the Lion's box in the first half.

Ali Collins replaced Charlie Anderson just before the break.

In the second half, Ben Dye replaced the injured Rob Pearson.

Dye scored Breachwoods consolation goal, gambling on a through pass from Dan Jefferies and taking the ball round the keeper.

With ten minutes to go Chad Eldridge replaced Ollie Mason.

Enperors Head 0 v 6 Lion's

Starting eleven: Routledge, P.Farr, Hill(C), French, D.Dye, J.Mason, D.Jefferies, Pearson, Charlie Anderson, O.Mason, Canning

Breachwood started very well, particularly in midfield, Dan Dye and Rob Pearson seeing alot of the ball early on. However is was Emperors Head that had constructed the better chances on goal from the right. Brian Routledge saved the Lions's palming a close shot onto the bar.

Ten minutes from half time Hill's pass into midfield enabled James Mason to pick a perfect pass through the Emperors defence for Ollie Mason to run onto and strike from inside the box into the roof of the net to give Breachwood a 1-0 lead at half time.

Despite the Emperor's right winger swapping sides in the second half, Breachwood had the momentum with Iain Canning scoring early in the second half.

As space began to open up, Dan Jefferies scored either side of another Iain Canning goal tucked inside the post with another assist from Hill.

Late in the second half Nathan Batt replaced Anderson who had battled hard in his first game back, Chad Eldridge replaced Rob Pearson and Scott Jenkins replaced Pete Farr.

Emperors Head managed to hit the Lion's post.

Broadhall Reserves 4 v 2 Lion's

Lion's starting eleven: Routledge, Hill (C), French, P.Farr, Lander, Milligan, J.Mason, Jenkins, Batt, Canning, O.Mason

Despite a promising start from Breachwood, with early chances for Canning and Mason, the Lion's went a goal behind to goal headed at the far post.

Nathan Batt had a promising run cutting in from the left taking on two or three players.

Pete Farr had the confidence to bring the ball out of defence for a long range shot.

Breachwood got back into the game with a promising attack, Lander kept the pressure on with header back into the fray. Ian Canning scored a superb individual goal, a great first touch helped him round a couple of players before tucking the ball inside the far post from eighteen yards.

The Lion's took the game to Broadhall, whilst French & Hill kept things simple in defence. Goalkeeper Brian Routledge was a match for anything Broadhall could throw back.

Breachwood took the lead when Karl Milligan, spotted the Broadhall keeper off his line and calmly lobbed him from just outside the centre circle.

Breachwood led 2-1 at half time.

In the second half Broadhall Reserves threw everything at Breachwood. Routledge saved the Lion's several times at close range. Broadhall had a succesion of corners and freekicks, especially when Routledge handled just outside the box.

The Lion's tried to get some light relief from the pressure with some fresh legs up front, Ali Collins replaced Batt and Harrison replaced Jenkins who had battled hard all game on the right.

John Griffin replaced Pete Farr. A tired Breachwood tried to hold on for the win but Broadhall equalised on 91 minutes and then took all the points with two more goals in another five minutes of injury time. The Fat lady sang in favour of Broadhall. Final score 4-2

Game Postponed

Lion's 1 v 6 Mallard Old Boys

Lion's starting eleven: Routledge, Griffin, Hill(C), French, P.Farr, J.Mason, D.Dye, Canning, Pearson, O.Mason, Milligan

Despite the snow, the game went ahead, thanks to the Breachwood Ground Staff.

Malard were the quickest to adapt to the conditions and quickly established a two nil lead.

Lion's had a gilt edge chance involving the midfield of Dye, Canning and Mason, carving through the Old Boys defence into the box leaving Pearson one on one, his placed shot looked like it was in until it was cleared off the line in mid air at the last second.

Nathan Batt replaced Karl Milligan who limped off with a hamstring injury.

Mallard capitalised on a couple of corners to gradually stretched out their lead to 5 nil at half time.

Seb Lander replaced John Griffin and Ed Jeffery replaced the injured Rob Pearson.

In the second half the Lions had more resolve with strong defending from Hill, French and Pete Farr.

Halfway through the second half the Lion's were awarded a penalty after Batts long pass was handled in the box. A cool Ollie Mason slotted home the spot kick to lift Breachwood spirits.

Unfortunately minutes later Mallard scored their sixth from close range.

Breachwood struggled into the Final whistle with DanDye and Ed Jeffery struggling with injury as the Lion' s had used all three subs.

Roebuck Gate 1 v 3 Lion's

Starting eleven: Routlidge, French, Hill(C), P.Farr, D.Dye, J.Mason, D.Jefferies, Canning, Pearson, O.Mason, Milligan

Breachwood were keen to build on last weeks thriller and proof that the team had goals in it.
James Mason and Dan Dye were instumental in most moves through the midfield. Dan Jefferies had an early shot.

Graham French cleared an early threat but Roebuck came close when Lions keeper Brian Routlidge tipped the ball onto the corner of the crossbar.

In the second half Breachwood used the wings more with Pearson and Canning in a push to break the deadlock. Canning threaded a cross to Milligan who came close with a shot over the bar.

But for the first time in the game the Roebuck forward got round Lion's central defender and captain for the day, Ricky Hill, to slot home to give Roebuck the lead.

As the goal came somewhat against the run of play, the Lion's were somewhat deflated for a period of ten minutes and playing a little too deep.

Ali Collins replaced Rob Pearson.

A great pass from Ricky Hill found Ollie Mason out right on the edge of the Roebuck box and Mason lobbed the keeper who was off his line to equalise for Breachwood.

Ten minutes later Ollie Mason scored his second with an unstoppable shot into the top corner.

The Lion's midfield was on fire with support from defender Pete Farr

Minutes before the end Super Sub Ali Collins, who scored twice against Roebuck in the Divisional Cup earlier in the season, darted into the box to secure Breachwood their first league win of the season with a well taken goal.

North Herts Celtic 5 v 5 Lion's

Starting eleven: Routledge, French, Hill, P.Farr, Griffin(C), D.Dye, J.Mason, Lander, O.Mason, Canning, Harrison

After an initial bright start from North Herts Celtic they were restricted to few counter attacks as Breachwood attacked through the midfield with Canning, Dye and the Mason Brothers but the closet the Lion's came was Harrison's shot being tipped over the bar, before having a goal disallowed due to challenge on the NHC keeper from a Lion's corner. NHC steadily found their footing by opening the scoring with 6 yard shot hitting the top corner. NHC then had a close range goal ruled offside, before the Lion's had a penalty appeal turned down. NHC increased their lead before half time from a corner to two nil.

Dan Jefferies replaced Seb Lander for Breachwood just before the break. Karl Milligan replace Harrison up front in the second half.

NHC scored a third goal after a mistake by Brian Routledge in the Lion's goal saw the ball slip between his legs. Dan Jefferies pulled a goal back when he finished a dribble on the left wing with a shot that found its way into the sweetspot of the far post.

Buoyed by the goal Breachwood scored another through Milligan inside the box, however NHC answered almost straight away with their forth goal.

Milligan was brought down by a goalkeeper lucky to stay on the pitch. Ollie Mason cooly converted the Penalty.

Super Sub Ali Collins replaced Capt Griffin and soon hit the net from close range.

It was true end to end football, NHC found some breathing space with a corner from which they scored their fifth, not to be beaten the Lion's earned another draw five minutes from time with Milligan capping his debut with a brace.

Lion's 3 v 3 Emperors Head

Lion's starting eleven: Brian, French, Hill, Griffin(C), P.Farr, D.Dye, O.Mason, J.Mason, Canning, Pearson, Harrison

This was the Lion's first game of 2010 and unfortunately went one nill down early on to Emperors Head when the forward got a toe to the ball before the Breachwood Keeper could catch a lofted ball over the top.

Lion's managed to get on level terms when Harrison beat the off side trap from Pearsons pass to slot the ball pass The Emperor's keeper at the second attempt.

Great movement between the Mason brothers and Dan Dye led Breachwood to having several more shots from distance to test the keeper.

Defensively the Lions were strong thanks to definative tackling from Ricky Hill.

Pete Farr linked well with Canning as Breachwood tried to push for the advantage before half time.

1-1 at half time.

Emperors Head regained the advantage after the break when the ball popped out to the edge of the Lion's area after a corner kick, the resulting shot went through a sea of bodies past the unsighted Breachwood keeper for 1-2

Graham French took a free kick just inside the Emperors half, that was flicked on by Harrison to James Mason whose one touch found brother Ollie to slide the ball home to bring the scores level at 2-2

Rob Pearson had been exploiting space on the right wing all game but it was Hills long rang pass down the right that Ollie Mason latched onto to give the Lion's the lead for the first time in the game.

Ten minutes later the scores where level again when Breachwood failed to clear a counter attack.

Scott Jenkins replaced John Griffin in Defence and Ali Collins replaced Harrison.

With minutes remaining Ollie Mason nearly got his hatrick and the points for the Lion's but his close range shot was straight at the keeper.

So anther draw for Breachwood at 3-3.

James Mason was man of the match for tireless running and tackling in the midfield
