The Division 4 Cup Final was held at Hitchin Town FC under the floodlights.
It was going to be a tight game as Billet had pipped the Lion's to the Division 4 League Title despite being unable to beat Breachwood in two attempts in the League.

Breachwood played a daring 3-5-2 formation for the first time this season. This worked well putting Billet on the back foot from kick off.

Breachwood had a free kick on the edge of the penalty area after about 15 minutes. Dan Jefferies curled the ball into the bottom right corner of Woodmans goal.

Billet got back into the game with several corners, one of which was knocked down on the six yard box for Craig Snowden to level the score.

Ali Collins continued to taunt the Billet defence however a clearence reached as far as Captain Turkentine in midfield with chest controled the ball before he unleashed a half volley into the top corner of the net moments before halftime to give the Lion's a 2-1 lead

After the restart Turkentine won a midfield battle and placed a perfect early through ball to Collins and with quick feet he swept the ball into the bottom corner of the Billet net for 3-1

Billet continued to create some danger down the flanks but Hill , Fildes and French provided some great defending.

Ollie Mason who had worked hard up front was replaced by Ollie Potton and Adam Jefferies was replaced by Simon Blondell.

Hansen kept Breachwood's attacking spirit alive on the right wing with man of the match Dan Dye playing a pivital position in midfield.

The match nearly set up for a tense ten minute finish if it wasn't for a double save by Harrison rushing out to the feet of a Billet forward.

Final Score 3-1 to the Lion's who win the 4th Division Cup for the second time (1st time 2003)
