A patched up Lion's side made heavy going of the early minutes of todays game at Shephallbury Park. But Breachwood got the first break with Simon Blondells counter attack finding Richard Taaffe up front to slot home past the Rileys keeper.
Rileys took advantage of the Lion's giving the ball away cheaply and a sweeping shop for the edge of the penalty area looked like it was going wide until it curled just inside the Lions post for 1-1
Adam Jefferies and James Mason picked up yellow cards
Rileys took the lead from a penalty after a foul from Ricky Hill
Richard Taaffe looks like he has being playing in a Lion's shirt for years scoring his second before half time
In the second half Breachwood absorbed Rileys pressure , a succession of Corners and free kicks but Mason, Jenkins , Furse and Hill were strong at the back to deal with each threat.
Graham French replaced John Griffin with an injured banjo.
Dan Jefferies secured the Lion's first point of the season with a trademark Lob over the keeper.
