An upbeat start for the Lion's , Dan Jefferies havin a pop from range and Ollie Mason's shot flashed accross the Billet goal. Adam Jefferies growing in stature in his current role received the ball out on the right and scored his first goal of the season with a hard low diagonal shot into the far corner of the Billet net from outside the box.
Having been under pressure for some time Billet found an outlet with a long deep goal kick for their forward to run onto and then find the right touch to lift the ball over the outcoming Max Anderson to level the score at 1-1
Despite further Breachwood attacks the scores remained level at half time.
In the second half Breachwood retook the lead when Capt Turks broke wide on the right wing and whipped in the cross form James Mason arriving on queue at the far post to fire the ball into the net to give the Lion's a 2-1 lead.
Crooked Billet had a spell of attach putting Breachwood under pressure. A backpass to Max Anderson meant he couldn't pick up the ball, his kicked clearence hit the oncoming Billet forward on the back rebounding into the Lions empty net to level the scores again at 2-2
Richard Wharton picked up a booking.
Five minutes later Ricky Hill's late challange gave away a free kick on the edge of the Breachwood Penalty area. The free kick was place wide of Lion's keeper Anderson high into the Breachwood net giving Billet the lead for the first time in the match at 3-2
Within minutes the Breachwood midfield combined on the left with Dan Jefferies squaring the ball to Ollie Mason a the far post to rifle in the Lions equaliser at 3-3
Billet kept testing the Breachwood defence with a succession of corners and long throw ins.
The Lion's defence of French,Wharton & Hill kept them at bay with Capt Turks also making a decisive headed clearence.
With ten minutes or so from full time, a decisive midfield move involving Dye, Turkentine and Jefferies and then a final surging run, saw Richard Taaffe determined not to be left off the score sheet with a right foot shot swept into the back of the Billet net to restore the Lions lead at 4-3
