Lion's starting eleven: Drury, A.Jefferies, French, Chapman(C), Lewis, O.Mason, J.Mason, Hansen, Griffin, Taaffe, Collins.
A hopeful start from Breachwood with some competent play, but lacked the final connection. AJS absorbed the Breachwood pressure and counter attacked. Twice AJS nearly took the lead but for goaline clearences from Ollie Mason and Graham French. AJS managed to pinch a goal before half time for a one nil lead.
In the second half Danny Jefferies replaced James Mason. Early on James Drury had to turn a low shot round the post. Later an AJS forward was able to attack the Breachwood defence before finding the top corner of the net for two nil.
So often Breachwood threatened to spring Ali Collins but he finaly got a couple of chances after some great work from Taaffe,the crossfield shot was pushed out only into the feet of Ollie Mason inside the six yard box to get one back for the Lion's
Pete Farr replaced Graham French and David Farr repalced the injured Adam Jefferies ten minutes from the final whistle.
