Lions starting eleven: Drury, French, Lewis, ?, J.Mason. Dye, Turkentine(C), Knight, O.Mason, Taaffe, Collins
Breachwood got a great start with an early goal from Richard Taaffe. Sam Cannon replaced Ollie Mason after he went down awkwardly breaking his thumb and dislocating his wrist in the process. Coach & Horses hit the post before then levelling the score before halftime.
In the second half Collins restored the Lion's lead after a great show of strength an a cut back from Cannon. Coach Horses levelled the scores again on the counter attack getting behind the Lion's last defender and pushing the ball past Drury inside the far post.
At 2-2 the game had a very competitive tempo with both sides trying to ge the upper hand. Brendan Hansen replaced Liam Knight in midfield.
With ten minutes to go James Mason and Richard Taaffe picked out Collins from the by line who laid the ball back for Cannon to strike the ball sweetly home from just over 18 yards for his first goal for the club and ensured the Lion's got all three points. Turkentine nearly extended the lead with a header that the Coach keeper somehow managed to keep out.
